What Is The Gospel?
First, the bad news. All of us have sinned. Because God is holy, righteous, and perfect, His standards require perfection. Never has a man or woman lived a perfect life. Only Jesus Christ accomplished that. That puts us in a bad spot. We are all sinners (Romans 3:23). The penalty for sin is death (Romans 6:23a). We're headed for final judgment, destined for wrath, and eternal punishment in a place called hell.

The good news is that the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus (Romans 6:23b). He paid the penalty for all of our sins. He did this by willingly laying down His life for our sake. He died a brutal death by crucifixion on a cross at a place called Calvary. We can't earn it. It's a free gift (Ephesians 2:8-9). If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved (Romans 10:9-10).
Don't wait! We have no guarantee of tomorrow. Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13). Confess your sins and call out to Jesus to forgive you. Place all of your trust in Him. Today can be the day you receive salvation and begin a new life of surrender and obedience to God.

Am I Good Enough To Get To Heaven?
I believe in God.
"You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder!" -James 2:19

I'm a good person.
“None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.” -Romans 3:10-11

I go to church. I've been baptized. I'm a member of a church. My family is Christian.
For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin. -Roman 3:20

We know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified. -Galatians 2:16

When the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:4–7

Don't all religions lead to God?
Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. -John 14:6

And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. -1 John 5:11–12

There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” -Acts 4:12

My friend, there is no other way. Jesus is the only way to receive forgiveness of sins, peace with God, and eternal life. There is not any other "god" or religion that will get you there. There's no amount of good you can ever do to pay for your sins. Christ did all of the work. When He was on the cross He said that, "It is finished (John 19:30). He gave everything for you. Trust in Him now. Call out to Him for forgiveness and salvation now. Today is the day of salvation.
